SAN FRANCISCO'S FISHERMAN'S WHARF @ 17 miles West

Fisherman's Wharf is one of the most popular attractions in San Francisco. Here you'll find fine seafood restaurants, museums, shopping and more. Take a quick ferry ride to Alcatraz or across the Bay to Marin. Pier 39 houses the Aquarium of the Bay, the San Francisco Carousel and The Great San Francisco Adventure, as well as other entertainment attractions.

SIX FLAGS DISCOVERY KINGDOM formerly MARINE WORLD in Vallejo, CA
@ 15 miles North

Known to locals as Six Flags Marine World. The newly renamed Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is the only combination wildlife park, theme park, and oceanarium in the world. You will see and interact with live animals such as elephants and giraffes. You will meet star killer whale Shouka and be entertained by other sea creatures such as dolphins, sea lions and walruses. And for roller coaster enthusiasts, there is an assortment of thrilling rides and attractions, including rides for kids.

SPORTING EVENTS

Our hotel is often full of Cal Bear fans visiting University of California, Berkeley for Cal Games. The Bay Area is home to several professional teams including the San Francisco Giants and the Oakland A's, the San Francisco 49ers and the Oakland Raiders. AT&T Park, home of the Giants, and Oakland Coliseum, home to both the A's and the Raiders, are both easy to get to on BART. (BART is a very short walk from El Cerrito Super 8.)
